An uncontested divorce is one in which both parties agree on ALL issues of their divorce.

How long does it take to obtain an uncontested divorce?
Once both parties expedite all documents in front of a notary and return to our office.  Most uncontested divorces will be completed in 60 days.

 

Do I (or my spouse) have to go to court?
In most uncontested divorces, over 95%, neither party has to go to court and your divorce will be mailed to you.

How does the process work?

  1. Call or email our office to set a 30-minute consultation.  (Consultation fee $35.00)
  2. Arrive 10 minutes early to fill out the paperwork
  3. Pay the retainer
  4. Paperwork will be mailed to you for signatures with in 2 weeks of initial consultation.
  5. Once paperwork is returned after signed by both parties divorce in 60 days.

Do I need to bring any documents to file?
